South Carolina’s Small Business Community Endorses Russell Fry

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Sept. 7, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Russell Fry for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent South Carolina’s 7th Congressional District. “Russell Fry has been a tireless supporter of small businesses during his time in the state legislature, with a near perfect voting record on small business issues,” said Ben Homeyer, NFIB South Carolina State Director. “He worked to keep South Carolina’s small businesses open during the COVID-19 government shutdowns, advocated for small business tax cuts, and fought to keep the state’s Unemployment Insurance trust fund funded. He has committed to focusing on top small business issues in Congress including high inflation, worker shortages, and supply chain issues. We are pleased to endorse him today.” “On behalf of South Carolina’s small businesses, we are proud to endorse Russell Fry for election,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He understands the issues that small business owners are facing and will continue to be a consistent supporter for them in Congress”. The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
