SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 7, 2022—The political action committee for California’s largest and leading small-business association today announced its endorsement of Matt Rahn for State Assembly.
“You would be hard-pressed to find a better example of what it means to be a quality candidate than Matt Rahn,” said John Kabateck, California state director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), speaking for the NFIB CA PAC, which made the endorsement. “He’s an American success story and his extensive experience in elected and appointed offices eminently qualifies him for a State Assembly in desperate need for more members like him. He has made reducing the regulatory burden on small businesses a prominent part of his campaign, and that really hit home with our small-business-owning membership. Matt Rahn is small businesses’ choice for State Assembly.”
The new 71st Assembly District includes parts of Orange and Riverside counties, including Cote de Caza, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, Mission Viejo, Modjeska, Murrieta, Rancho Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Temecula, Trabuco Canyon, Silverado, Wildomar, and Williams Canyon.
NFIB’s national membership spans the spectrum of business operations, ranging from sole proprietor enterprises to firms with hundreds of employees. While there is no standard definition of a small business, the typical NFIB member employs 10 people and reports gross sales of about $500,000 a year. The NFIB membership reflects American small business. Small-business owners are also a potent political force. Click here for a page of bulleted information on the Power of the Small Business Voice.
