Small Business Owners Meet in Tallahassee for NFIB’s Annual Small Business Day

Owners from across the state gathered to hear from state leaders

Florida’s small business owners traveled to Tallahassee this week for NFIB’s annual Small Business Day. Owners first met on Monday, Feb. 2nd for NFIB’s Boots & Business dinner and heard from keynote speaker Michael Yaworksy, Florida’s Insurance Commissioner.

On Tuesday, Feb. 3rd, NFIB’s hosted its Small Business Day at the Governor’s Club where small business owners heard from several elected officials including:

  • Representative Ryan Chamberlin
  • Attorney General James Uthmeier
  • Senator Keith Truenow
  • Senator Stan McClain
  • Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia
  • Representative Judson Sapp
  • Representative Toby Overdorf
