NFIB’s annual event in Olympia is February 18
NFIB needs your help to stop some very bad proposals dead in their tracks.
— Lawmakers are already talking about passing new payroll or income taxes in 2026, on top of nearly $9.5 billion in tax hikes they approved earlier this year.
— Trial lawyers and their Big Labor allies are pushing costly changes to the workers’ compensation system that will continue raising your rates higher and higher.
— The Paid Family & Medical Leave system is running out of money, driving up premiums. Recent IRS decisions threaten to shift more of the burden onto employers.
— And bureaucrats are threatening to impose a $700 million unemployment insurance “solvency surcharge” to keep that fund afloat.
Time to organize!
Join us in Olympia for Small Business Day at the Capital, Wednesday, February 18, 2026. This is your opportunity to meet with legislators and explain how their decisions in Olympia impact your small business.
Lunch is provided thanks to our generous sponsors. There is no cost to attend, but advanced registration is required. NFIB members are encouraged to bring guests. The Legislature needs to hear directly from Main Street employers like you.
