Report Card Time on Colorado’s Legislators

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Tony Gagliardi, Colorado State Director, tony.gagliardi@nfib.org, or Tony Malandra, Senior Media Manager, anthony.malandra@nfib.org DENVER, July 13, 2022—The 2021-2022 session of the Colorado General Assembly was a tough one on small business, but today’s release of NFIB’s biennial voting record at least makes it clear which lawmakers stood up for small business and pushed back on many harmful proposals. Senators and representatives were graded on 12 votes taken during the two-year session. A brief description of them and each lawmaker’s vote on them can be read here. No legislator had a 100% voting record, but 13 senators and 21 representatives managed scores above 90% and another two senators and three representatives were either in the 70% or 80% range.
