MI Minimum Wage Increased on Jan. 1

The min. wage increased to $13.73 on January 1, 2026

A reminder to Michigan employers that Michigan’s minimum wage increased to $13.73 per hour beginning January 1, 2026, with the tipped wage being $5.49 per hour (40% of the minimum wage).

On January 1, 2027, the minimum wage will increase to $15 per hour.
