NFIB Response to Governor Kemp's State of the State Address

NFIB State Director Nathan Humphrey released the following statement today in response to Governor Kemp’s State of the State message: “Our small business members appreciate Governor Kemp’s tax refund proposal. Governor Kemp’s plan would put more money in the pockets of small business owners and their employees. “Governor Kemp’s plan to invest in the technical college system would help address the state’s labor shortage by increasing workforce development opportunities in high-demand fields. NFIB research shows that small business owners throughout the country are struggling with finding people to work and that the lack of workers is hurting their ability to provide the goods and services their customers need, which affects revenues.”
