NFIB Pennsylvania Backs Pro-Small-Business Incumbent Lawmakers for Legislature

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today announced a slate of incumbent endorsements for the Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives ahead of the May 17th primary electionNFIB PA State Director Greg Moreland announced the list of candidates, which was issued by the NFIB Pennsylvania PAC, the state’s most influential and effective small business political action committee. “With main street businesses still damaged and recovering from the COVID-19 Pandemic and the effects of severe and often inequitable state-ordered shutdowns and mandates, it is more important than ever that small business be well represented in Harrisburg,” said Moreland. “I am pleased to extend the National Federation of Independent Business endorsement to these strong, pro-small-business lawmakers. Each has been a leader in the General Assembly and consistently shown a commitment to free enterprise, and small-business owners and their employees.” The endorsements are based on NFIB member input, candidate questionnaires, and voting records. Small business owners must rally behind candidates who will support them. “Small business owners all across Pennsylvania are experiencing unprecedented regulatory, tax, and hiring challenges, with the $800 million RGGI energy tax just the latest burden imposed by Gov. Wolf and his allies in the Legislature,” continued Moreland. “We will aggressively support these candidates who best represent our members and will fight for the continued viability of Pennsylvania small businesses. This election is too important for the business community to stay on the sidelines and accept the status quo in Harrisburg.” STATE SENATE ENDORSEMENTS Sen. Patrick M. Browne – (Lehigh County) Sen. Ryan P. Aument – (Lancaster County) Rep. Rosemary M. Brown – (Monroe County) Rep. Greg Rothman – (Cumberland County) STATE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ENDORSEMENTS Rep.
