NFIB Nebraska Hosts Small Business Day in Lincoln

LINCOLN (April 13, 2023) – The National Federation of Business (NFIB) here in Nebraska hosted Small Business Day in Lincoln, which featured a Q&A with Governor Jim Pillen, State Senator Lou Ann Linehan, and NFIB Member and State Senator Robert Clements. There, small business owners were able to ask questions and hear updates on the Unicameral legislative session. Following the event, NFIB State Director Bob Hallstrom said: “It’s always a treat to have small business owners here in Lincoln. Today, our members underscored why tax relief is so crucial in this legislative session. Many of our local job creators are struggling in this economic environment, as qualified workers remain in short supply and inflation continues to put pressure on prices. Having our small business owners come to the Capitol to talk about the challenges they face helps our lawmakers craft better policies. We’ll continue to work with the Legislature to make it easier to do business here in the Cornhusker State.”
