Rep. Lampton is a proven small business supporter
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Ohio’s leading small business advocacy organization, presented its coveted Guardian of Small Business Award to state Rep. Brian Lampton. The Guardian of Small Business Award is the most prestigious award that NFIB presents to legislators for their efforts to support Ohio’s small businesses.
“Since taking office in 2021, Representative Lampton has been a staunch supporter of Ohio’s small business community,” said Cameron Garczyk, NFIB Ohio Assistant State Director. “Rep. Lampton has been a small business owner for 30+ years and is an NFIB member, making him uniquely qualified to co-chair the Business First Caucus in the General Assembly. He understands the top challenges small businesses face daily and has earned a 100% lifetime NFIB voting record by defending and protecting small businesses in the Legislature. Specifically, Rep. Lampton has been a leader for employer protections and tax reform and has advocated against harmful health insurance mandates that would stifle small businesses. On behalf of Ohio’s small businesses, we are proud to name Rep. Lampton a Guardian of Small Business today.”
NFIB presented the award at Rep. Lampton’s business, Lampton Engle & Associates, in Beavercreek. Rep. Lampton represents House District 70.
“Looking out for small businesses in the state of Ohio is why I belong to NFIB, I feel it is my duty to do everything I can to protect and promote them,” said Rep. Lampton. “I am honored to be recognized by NFIB as a Guardian of Small Business and look forward to continuing this important work as state representative.”

NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
