Dr. Gina Wolf the latest small business owner appointed by Governor Ferguson
Last year, NFIB published a report showing how deeply involved its small business owning members are in their communities. Lesser publicized are the public-service contributions NFIB members make for the betterment of their state government.
Dr. Gina Wolf is the latest NFIB member to be appointed to a state agency by Gov. Bob Ferguson, the Washington Health Benefit Exchange, on whose board of directors she will now serve, announced June 17. The Exchange’s news release can be read here.
NFIB Washington Leadership Council members and staff play a vital role representing small business throughout the year on several state policy and advisory panels appointed by the governor, agency heads, legislative leaders, and other elected officials.
At last count, NFIB members are bringing their expertise to eight state departments, agencies, and task forces. Click here for the list and names of members. NFIB thanks them for their service. No group of people have a better understanding of businesses’ relation to public policy.
