NFIB Hosts Speaker Matt Huffman at Lima Small Business Roundtable

April 14, 2026

Lima small business owners had a lunchtime discussion with Speaker Huffman

Ohio Speaker of the House of Representatives Matt Huffman joined NFIB small business owners for a lunchtime roundtable conversation earlier this week in Lima. As a small business owner, Speaker Huffman understands the issues impacting our members and has been a reliable advocate for Main Street in the Statehouse.

“We appreciate Speaker Huffman for taking the time to meet with our members and have a meaningful discussion on how we can further strengthen Ohio’s small businesses,” said Jared Weiser, NFIB Ohio State Director.

NFIB has testified on several small business priority bills this legislative session, including Senate Bill 9, Ohio’s 2026 tax conformity bill, which thanks to Speaker Huffman’s leadership is now fully in affect for Ohio’s small business community. Read our latest legislative update here.
