New York Small Businesses Endorse Rep. Nick LaLota for Re-Election to Congress

ALBANY, N.Y. (Sept. 4, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Representative Nick LaLota for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent New York’s 1st Congressional District.

“Rep. Nick LaLota recognizes the importance of pro-small business legislation, earning a NFIB Voting Record of 100%,” said Ashley Ranslow, NFIB New York State Director. “As a member of the House Committee on Small Business, Rep. LaLota has prioritized the small business agenda which is essential to the sustainability of New York’s independent business owners and Main Street job growth. This includes his support for the Main Street Tax Certainty Act to empower small business owners to overcome the challenges of the last few years. On behalf of small businesses in New York’s 1st Congressional District, we are pleased to endorse Rep. LaLota for re-election today and look forward to continuing to work with him.”

“Rep. LaLota is an advocate for New York small business owners and entrepreneurs,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He holds a 100% NFIB Voting Record and supports the Main Street Tax Certainty Act to save the 20% Small Business Deduction. We are proud to endorse him today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
