NFIB Launches Ad Campaign Thanking Senator John Thune for His Continued Efforts to Prevent a Tax Hike on South Dakota Small Businesses

South Dakota’s leading advocate for small business, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), launched a new advertising campaign today thanking Senator John Thune for his support of small businesses. The campaign highlights Senator Thune’s leadership in the continuing fight to make the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent, preventing a devastating tax hike on small businesses that will otherwise occur later this year.

“With the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction set to expire, millions of small businesses nationwide—including many in South Dakota—face a looming tax increase,” said NFIB South Dakota State Director Jason Glodt. “Senator Thune has been a strong advocate for ensuring small businesses can compete by cosponsoring the Main Street Tax Certainty Act to make the deduction permanent and prevent a crippling tax increase. We appreciate his leadership and look to his continued support to protect small businesses.”

The campaign will run on radio and digital platforms across South Dakota through April, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of protecting small businesses from higher taxes.
