Montana Minimum Wage $10.30 an Hour on Jan. 1, 2024

Montana will have a new minimum-wage rate starting Jan. 1, 2024. That’s when it rises to $10.30 an hour. Reports the Billings Gazette, “It is $3.05 higher than the federal minimum wage rate of $7.25 per hour, which has been at that rate since 2009, according to masslive.com. That represents the longest stretch the federal minimum wage has remained unchanged since it was established in 1938. Montana will join 28 other states with a minimum wage above $10 an hour.” Click the graphic below for the complete information from the Department of Labor & Industry.
