FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ALBANY, NY (August 1, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small-business association, today announced that Molly Dillman has been named the organization’s assistant state director in New York. In this role, Dillman will be supporting all aspects of the organization’s state advocacy, political engagement, communications, operations, and programming on behalf of NFIB’s thousands of members across the Empire State. “I’m thrilled to announce that Molly Dillman will be joining our team as assistant state director,” said Ashley Ranslow, NFIB’s state director in New York. “Molly’s experience, knowledge, and relationships are a great asset to NFIB, and she will help elevate our advocacy efforts during a very trying time for small business owners.” Dillman’s experience at the Conference of Big 5 School Districts and Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has allowed her to establish vital relationships with members of the Legislature, legislative staff, and a wide variety of organizations, including business advocacy groups. Her previous experience also includes time with the Assembly Ways and Means Committee and the Executive Chamber. “New York’s small businesses are facing significant economic headwinds with rampant inflation, crippling labor shortages, high gas prices, and unending supply chain issues,” added Ranslow. “This is a critical time for Main Street, and Molly’s skill set and passion for small business will help advance NFIB’s mission. She is a perfect fit for the organization, and I look forward to working with her to ensure the voice of small business is heard loud and clear in the halls of Albany.” “I am very excited to join the NFIB team and advocate on behalf of New York’s independent and small business community,” said Dillman. “It is more important than ever that the voice of Main Street be heard. I look forward to advancing the NFIB legislative agenda in New York and supporting the businesses that are the backbone of the economy.” A native of Niskayuna, New York, Dillman currently lives in Albany. She’s a graduate of St. Michael’s College in Colchester, VT.
