Small business owners gathered in Oklahoma City to make their voices heard in the Oklahoma Legislature
On Wednesday, NFIB State Director Jerrod Shouse hosted Small Business Day in OKC. There, local job creators heard remarks from a handful of state lawmakers, including Senate Floor Leader Julie Daniels, Senator Kristen Thompson, House Speaker Pro Tempore Anthony Moore, and State Representatives Mark Chapman, Clay Staires, Brad Bowles, and Trey Caldwell.
This was an opportunity for NFIB members to engage their lawmakers, ask questions, and voice their concerns.
“Having our members here in Oklahoma City to share their stories always makes a big impact,” Shouse said. “It’s an important opportunity for lawmakers to better understand how the policy proposals they’re considering will affect Main Street Oklahomans.”
