LISTEN: NFIB's Leah Long On Eliminating the State Income Tax

NFIB State Director Leah Long recently appeared on Talk 107.3’s “Mornings with Brian Haldane” about the possibility of eliminating Louisiana’s state income tax. She said there apparently won’t be a special session on tax reform this year, but reducing or eliminating the state income tax is a big issue for NFIB’s Louisiana members. “There are a lot of states around us that have eliminated the income tax,” including Florida, Tennessee, and Texas, Long said. Reducing or eliminating the state income tax “is one of our top priorities here in Louisiana,” she said. Click here to listen to the full interview.
