LISTEN: NFIB’s Jeff Burdett Appears on KRLD’s Ask the Expert in North Texas

NFIB State Director Jeff Burdett urges listeners to vote ‘YES’ on Prop 9 this November.

Appearing on KRLD’s Ask the Experts North Texas, NFIB State Director Jeff Burdett urged listeners to vote ‘YES’ on Prop 9, which would protect Texas small businesses by providing meaningful tax relief.

Burdett also highlighted the findings of the latest Small Business Optimism Index, citing the permanency of the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction for the boost in confidence on Main Street.

“What small business owners need is a tax and regulatory environment that’s fair, low, and predictable,” Burdett said. “Congress has stood up for Main Street by making the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent. Here in Texas, voters have an opportunity to let our Main Streets thrive by voting ‘yes’ on Prop 9 this November.”
