While we’re asking the Texas Legislature to cut the inventory tax, we need your help to tell the small business story.

Help Us Tell the Texas Small Business Story

As one of nine states that taxes inventory, this tax is both burdensome and costly to comply with and makes it harder for small businesses to compete with the big guys. NFIB member and Dallas small business owner Andy Ellard shared his story with CBS11. With a nearly $33 billion budget surplus, it’s time for the state of Texas to give small business owners some relief. While we’re asking the Texas Legislature to cut the inventory tax, we need your help to tell the small business story. If you’d like to share your story on why the Texas Legislature needs to cut the inventory tax, please contact Texas State Director Annie Spilman (annie.spilman@nfib.org) or Grassroots Manager Nicole Lucero Coleman (nicole.coleman@nfib.org).
