Georgia’s Small Business Community Endorses Dr. Rich McCormick

ATLANTA, Ga. (July 27, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Dr. Rich McCormick for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Georgia’s 6th Congressional District. “Georgia’s small businesses would benefit from having Dr. Rich McCormick in Congress,” said Nathan Humphrey, NFIB Georgia State Director. “Dr. McCormick has committed to reducing rampant inflation, streamlining regulatory processes, reducing health care costs on employers and employees, and lowering taxes. He has expressed support for making the Small Business Deduction permanent, which has helped small businesses in Georgia and throughout the country. We are confident he will be a strong small business vote in Congress and we’re proud to endorse him today.” “After his decades in the U.S. military, Dr. McCormick wants to extend his service by representing Georgia in Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He understands the issues facing small businesses and has pledged to be a strong small business supporter. We look forward to working with him.” The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
