GA General Assembly Gets Underway

The 2021 Legislative Session began this week, and it comes with a wide range of issues impacting small business and the many ways NFIB will be addressing them. These issues include:

  • Continuation and extension of the much-needed COVID liability protections
  • Fighting against surprise tax increases regarding PPP Loan forgiveness
  • Opposing an increase in the state minimum wage
  • Supporting and effort to cut “red tape” and remove burdensome regulations

One of the best tools at your disposal is the NFIB Engage app that you can download to your phone or tablet. With the app, you will be able to update your preferences and the different ways you are wanting to get involved, and view the latest news from Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
