Florida’s Small Businesses Endorse Senator Marco Rubio for Re-Election

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Sept. 16, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Senator Marco Rubio for re-election to the United States Senate to represent Florida. “Senator Rubio defends free enterprise and supports small business owners when they need it most,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB Florida Executive Director. “When other politicians focused on forcing small businesses to close during the COVID-19 pandemic, Senator Rubio was focused on helping save them and created the Paycheck Protection Program.” “There is no doubt that Senator Rubio has been an unwavering supporter of small businesses,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He has earned a 100% NFIB voting record since being elected to the U.S. Senate and previously demonstrated leadership as the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee Chair during a historically challenging period. We are proud to endorse him today and look forward to continuing to work with him.” The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
