Fight to Keep Health Care Costs Low for Small Business Owners

February 23, 2024 Last Edit: May 8, 2025

NFIB and Save Our Benefits AZ are fighting on your behalf to keep costs low and the Grand Canyon State open for business.

The cost of doing business continues to rise for employers across the country. Unfortunately for Arizona families and small business owners, inflation has taken a serious toll.

According to a 2023 survey, small business owners face a substantial affordability crisis in providing health insurance for their employees. While most small business owners find it challenging to manage the cost of health insurance, almost half have taken a lower profit or suffered a loss to pay for health insurance premium increases in the past five years.

The Legislature can play a significant role in impacting the cost of doing business. No matter how well-intentioned, mandates always come with an expense.

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and Save Our Benefits AZ are fighting on your behalf to keep costs low and the Grand Canyon State open for business.
