NFIB brought back Virtual Small Business Day so Maine small business owners could join from anywhere.
The return of the NFIB Maine Virtual Small Business Day last month was a great success, as small business members from across the state heard directly from policy and advocacy experts and a key lawmaker on the Maine Legislature’s Taxation Committee.
Maine State Director David Clough assembled a full and informative program, providing the latest updates on the key legislation and regulatory policies that affect you and your business and employees. State Director Clough led discussions that highlighted the top small business issues moving through the Capitol in Augusta, including a comprehensive presentation with Senator Bruce Bickford (Androscoggin), the ranking Republican senator on the powerful Taxation Committee, as well as a federal issues update with Louis Bertolotti, NFIB Principal of Federal Government Relations. Opportunities for NFIB in Washington, D.C. Member Activism and success stories were also discussed.
