NFIB Thanks Lt. Gov. Randy McNally for His Outstanding Service

Last week, Lt. Gov. Randy McNally and State Rep. Lowell Russell honored NFIB member Bo Carey with a framed resolution for being named an NFIB Small Business Champion earlier this year.
Joined by his wife Lisette and son, John, Carey accepted the honor at his store Greer’s Home Furnishings, which has been an NFIB member since 1992. You can read the full resolution here by clicking SJR 874.
Carey serves on the NFIB Tennessee Leadership Council and is vice chair of the NFIB Tennessee PAC. He is a fourth-generation owner of Greer’s Home Furnishings and owner of “The Shoppes on the Square,” which has 44 unique outlets under one roof in downtown Loudon.
“Bo Carey is a tremendous leader for small businesses in Tennessee,” said NFIB State Director Jim Brown. “He is very connected to state and federal leaders, who look to him for input on key issues impacting small businesses like his. His activism is second to none and has resulted in many public policy successes for Tennessee’s job creators.”
Brown thanked Rep. Russell for his consistent support of NFIB issues in the legislature and Lt. Gov. McNally for his steady hand as senate speaker since Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey retired in 2016. McNally will not be running for office again this year.
“We will miss Randy McNally as a great state leader and first-class individual,” Brown said. “We extend our best wishes to him and his family as he begins to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.”

NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
