California Small Businesses Endorse Rep. John Duarte for Re-Election

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Aug. 13, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Representative John Duarte for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent California’s 13th Congressional District.

“Representative John Duarte is a small business owner, NFIB member, and strong advocate for Main Street in Congress,” said John Kabateck, NFIB California State Director. “With a 100% NFIB Voting Record, he has been instrumental in working to alleviate the challenges facing the small business community. This includes his efforts to protect small business owners against regulatory overreach like the EPA’s Waters of the United States rule – which is particularly harmful for small business landowners and farmers. He also supports the Main Street Tax Certainty Act to make the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent. We are proud to endorse Rep. Duarte for re-election today and look forward to continuing to work with him.”

“Rep. Duarte holds a 100% NFIB Voting Record, demonstrating his commitment to advancing pro-small business policies in Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “We are thankful for his work to reduce red tape, lower health insurance costs, and cut taxes for small businesses, and we are pleased to endorse Rep. Duarte for re-election today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
