As Mail Balloting Begins, Colorado Small Businesses Encourage Voters To Reject Proposition HH

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Tony Gagliardi, Colorado State Director, tony.gagliardi@nfib.org, or Tony Malandra, Senior Media Manager, anthony.malandra@nfib.org DENVER, Oct. 16, 2023 — As Colorado voters begin receiving mail ballots this week, the National Federation of Independent Business, Colorado’s leading small business association, continues to urge voters to reject Proposition HH and preserve TABOR. “It’s time for Colorado’s leaders and voters to stand with Main Street by rejecting Proposition HH,” said Tony Gagliardi, Colorado state director for NFIB. “The issue has been seriously scrutinized since it was rushed out of the Legislature, at the last minute, to undermine the Taxpayer Bill of Rights of Rights, with an eye toward its eventual elimination. We urge Colorado voters to reject Proposition HH and stand with small businesses.” Colorado small business owners are decidedly against Prop. HH, voting 90% in opposition to tossing something overboard that for 30 years has returned hard-earned money back to them. NFIB recently launched an issue campaign that includes radio ads across Colorado, digital ads, and a landing page with more information.
