“Main Street appreciates Governor Huckabee Sanders’ and the Legislature’s commitment to cutting taxes for Arkansans.”

LITTLE ROCK (June 20, 2024) – Upon the General Assembly’s passage of special session tax cuts, NFIB State Director Katie Burns applauded the relief for Main Street businesses:

“Main Street appreciates Governor Huckabee Sanders’ and the Legislature’s commitment to cutting taxes for Arkansans. We know inflation is the single biggest problem small business owners face. These tax cuts will allow job creators to raise wages, expand benefits, and invest in their businesses, bolstering the local economy. These cuts get us one step closer to fully phasing out our state income tax.”
