Depending on Congress either letting the 20% Small Business Deduction in the federal tax code expire or be made permanent, Montana’s economy stands to suffer or benefit big, according to two reports issued late last week.
The state Department of Revenue has granted tax extensions for all 64 parishes impacted by Hurricane Francine. The extensions do not apply to any returns or taxes due before Sept. 11.
