Update on U.S. Supreme Court Cases Affecting Small Business

Update on U.S. Supreme Court Cases Affecting Small Business

March 20, 2026

The Small Business Legal Center released a monthly update video

NFIB’s Small Business Legal Center releases monthly video updates to keep small business owners aware of important legal cases and news that may affect their business. This month’s video focuses on the U.S. Supreme Court and how the cases they hear directly influence the environment small businesses operate in.

Decisions from the Supreme Court affect several important areas of interest for small business owners, including but not limited to: employment law, agency regulation and administrative power, workplace benefits, and taxation. The Supreme Court will also hear a few key cases this year that will have regulatory or financial effects on businesses of all sizes.

Watch the Legal Center’s monthly video for information and resources for small business owners to stay up to date on cases from our nation’s courts. The Legal Center has been fighting for the rights and interests of small businesses for over 25 years. Visit NFIB.com/legal for a comprehensive list of resources, including legal guides, blogs, and monthly updates.
