Some new fleet trucks. A new forklift for the warehouse. A slew of new tools, including top-quality welders. These investments have helped us be more proficient in bidding against bigger businesses with more resources. Now, with a permanent tax cut, we can invest and compete with even more confidence.”
Inforum published an op-ed from NFIB State Director Don Larson of North Dakota on the deduction and its boost to the North Dakota economy: “Additionally, the tax law provides relief through other vital pro-small business provisions. Our economy relies heavily on capital-intensive industries like agriculture and energy.”
NFIB State Director Matt Everson of Iowa wrote an an op-ed for The Gazette about the Small Business Tax Deduction’s impact on job growth in Iowa: “Research shows that small businesses will now create more than 1.2 million new jobs a year as they use their tax saving to grow and invest in their employees and give back. In Iowa specifically, more than 12,000 jobs a year will be created. Just think how much that will benefit our economy and local communities.”
The Phoenix Business Journal published an op-ed by Chad Heinrich, NFIB State Director of Arizona on the benefits Arizonans will see to their local economies due to the permanent extension of the Small Business Deduction: “An NFIB-commissioned study by EY found that the Small Business Tax Deduction will increase Arizona’s economic activity by more than $1.4 billion annually, resulting in the creation of 26,000 jobs each year.
