Our take: “If this Small Business Deduction expires, marginal rates go up, and all of the things that were implemented in 2017 go away at a time when the C-Corp rate is permanent, so their bigger competitors are not going to see a tax hike. It would be pretty catastrophic for Main Street to see a significant tax hike,” said Jeff Brabant, NFIB Vice President of Federal Government Relations.
