TX Members Visit Capitol Hill During NFIB Fly-In

State Director Annie Spilman led a group of Texas members to Capitol Hill as part of the 2022 NFIB Fly-In.

The first fly-in since before the pandemic drew hundreds of NFIB members from across the country to Washington, D.C., this week to learn more about what’s happening in Congress and to speak out on the issues affecting Main Street businesses.

On Wednesday, the Texas delegation spoke with U.S. Rep. Pat Fallon and met with the staffs of Rep. John Cornyn and Rep. Dan Crenshaw. Earlier in the week, the group heard from Rep. Jodey Arrington.

“The last two fly-ins were virtual because of the pandemic,” Spilman said. “It was great to get together in person and meet directly with our elected leaders and talk about the challenges facing the state’s small businesses.”
