Citizens Community Bank was founded in 1927

Citizens Community Bank was recognized today for its 57 years as a dedicated member of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) at a small business roundtable event hosted by NFIB in partnership with the Community Bankers Association of Georgia (CBA).

During the event, Citizens Community Bank, co-founded by the Hollis family of Valdosta in 1927, was honored for its long-standing commitment to NFIB and for its role in supporting Georgia’s small business community.

“Citizens Community Bank and the Hollis family have played a key role in creating jobs and serving their community,” said Humphrey. “Their steadfast support over the decades has helped amplify the voice of Georgia’s small businesses in both Atlanta and Washington, D.C.”

Humphrey also presented Citizens Community Bank President and CEO Jeff Hanson with a commendation from Gov. Brian Kemp for their membership in NFIB and 97 years of serving small businesses in Valdosta and throughout the state.
