Texas Small Business Community Endorses Rep. Mayra Flores for Election to Congress

AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 13, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Mayra Flores for election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Texas’ 34th Congressional District.

“Mayra Flores has demonstrated a pro-small business mindset that will benefit job creators in South Texas,” said Jeff Burdett, NFIB Texas State Director. “During her time in Congress, Mayra Flores held a 100% NFIB voting record and proved to be a consistent advocate for protecting small business interests. We are proud to endorse her today.”

“Mayra Flores will be an ardent supporter of small and independent businesses,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “She has first-hand knowledge of the issues impacting businesses in South Texas, such as burdensome regulations and high taxes, with a proven track record of supporting Main Street during her service in the 117th Congress. We are pleased to endorse her today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
