Key endorsements and dates to be aware of to cast your vote.

Every election is an important one for small business. Primary Election Day in California is March 5. All active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot.

Not registered?

You have until February 20 for the March 5 Primary. But, same-day voter registration is also available.

The NFIB California PAC, the state’s most influential and effective small business political action committee, has endorsed the following candidates for state Senate and Assembly in the March 5 Primary Election.

Additional endorsements may be added on a rolling basis.

Other Key Dates

  • Ballots were mailed beginning February 5
  • Ballot drop-off locations opened on February 6
  • Vote-by-mail ballots can be returned by mail, at a drop-off location, or your county elections office.

Vote-by-mail ballots that are returned in person or at a drop-box must be delivered no later than the close of polls at 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Vote-by-mail ballots that are returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by March 12.

Vote centers open for early in-person voting in all Voter’s Choice Act counties beginning on February 24.

  • Polling locations are open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Election Day.
