South Carolina Small Businesses Endorse Congressman Rice for Re-election

COLUMBIA, S.C. (June 3, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Rep. Tom Rice for re-election to the United States House of Representatives for South Carolina’s 7th Congressional District. “Congressman Rice is a strong supporter of South Carolina’s small businesses,” said NFIB South Carolina State Director Ben Homeyer. “In fact, Rep. Rice has maintained a 100% NFIB voting record throughout his time in Congress and has delivered on pro-small business policies such as tax cuts and advocating to make the Small Business Deduction permanent for pass-through businesses. As a CPA and tax attorney, he knows how important tax relief is for small businesses. We are proud to endorse him today and look forward to continuing to work with him.” “On behalf of South Carolina’s small business community, we are proud to endorse Congressman Rice for re-election,” said NFIB Senior National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “We are confident Rep. Rice will continue to make small businesses a priority during his time in Congress.” The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
