OLYMPIA, Wash., July 22, 2024—The political action committee for Washington state’s largest small business association today announced 15 endorsements for the Legislature ahead of the August 6 Primary Election.

“As this most recent legislative session clearly demonstrated, candidates routinely wax poetic about their love for small business on the campaign trail, but all too often sidle up to Big Labor, Big Government, and Big Business once in office,” said Patrick Connor, state director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), speaking for the NFIB WA PAC, which made the endorsements.

“Either by their voting records, or responses to questionnaires and interviews, the candidates we are endorsing in this year’s Primary Election are those most likely to stand with small business when it matters most,” Connor added.

NFIB WA PAC primary endorsements are:

  • John Snaza for State Representative, District 2, Position 2
  • Suzanne Schmidt for re-election as State Representative, District 4, Position 1
  • Mark Schoesler for re-election as State Senator, District 9
  • Joe Schmick for re-election as State Representative, District 9, Position 2
  • Ron Muzzall for re-election as State Senator, District 10
  • Keith Goehner for State Senator, District 12
  • Sheriff Brian Burnett for State Representative, District 12, Position 2
  • Perry Dozier for re-election as State Senator, District 16
  • Paul Harris for State Senator, District 17
  • Hannah Joy for State Representative, District 17, Position 2
  • John Braun for re-election as State Senator, District 20
  • Chris Gildon for re-election as State Senator, District 25
