In 2024, small businesses continued to navigate an increasingly complex legal and regulatory landscape. To help address these challenges, the Small Business Legal Center remained committed to providing small businesses with guidance on government regulations and general business matters. We saw a 30% increase in inquiries in 2024, handling over 1,000 requests via phone and email, demonstrating the growing need for reliable legal guidance. From new regulations to compliance challenges, we continue to provide the necessary resources and information to help your small business continue to succeed.
Our top inquiry subjects included:
- FinCEN’s Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Reporting Rule;
- Assisting Small Businesses with SBA Loan Challenges; and
- Employee Management.

- 75% of inquiries were resolved via email, while 25% required phone consultations.
- Phone inquiries averaged 8-10 minutes per call.
- Our team managed an impressive 25 inquiries per week—a testament to our dedication and efficiency.
