SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 19, 2024-From Casey Hill, Utah state director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business association, in response to Gov. Spencer Cox’s State-of-the-State address yesterday.

“Earlier this week we posted about what we hoped we would hear from Governor Cox during his state of the state address. Specifically, we hoped to hear continued support for lower taxes, less regulation and a continued small business friendly environment. Well ,the governor not only delivered a great speech, but he went three for three in mentioning support for each of these critical issues!

“It’s no wonder Utah was recently named the best place to start a small business in the nation by WalletHub. Thank you, Governor Cox, for your leadership and voice on these important issues!”
