LITTLE ROCK, April 2, 2013 — Join us April 26 in Texarkana for a special health-care luncheon featuring Amanda Austin, NFIB’s director of federal public policy. Austin, who’s spent years on the front lines of Washington’s health-care reform battle, will brief NFIB members and other small-business owners on the latest update on Obamacare and NFIB’s tenacious efforts to protect small business during these critical times. She’ll also discuss what the Affordable Care Act means to small businesses. Topics will include:
  • Provisions already in effect
  • The three-legged stool (Individual Mandate Tax, Individual Subsidies, Employer Mandate)
  • New Insurance policies and marketplaces
  • Sequestration’s effect on Medicaid/Medicare reimbursements
  • Other important issues in Obamacare
The luncheon will be Friday, April 26, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System, 2600 St. Michael Drive (North Conference Room), in Texarkana, Texas. The cost to attend is $10 and may be paid in advance or at the door. To learn more or to register, contact Linette Delgadillo at linnette.delgadillo@NFIB.org or 512-476-9847.
