Senator Rose's 100% NFIB Voting Record demonstrates his support for small businesses
The National Federation of Independent Business, the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today presented its coveted Guardian of Small Business award to state Sen. Paul Rose (District 32, which includes Lauderdale and Tipton counties and part of Shelby County).
“Paul Rose has been a stalwart supporter of small business since joining the state senate in 2019,” NFIB State Director Jim Brown said. “Senator Rose has voted for meaningful tax, labor, tort and regulatory reforms that are leading to small businesses hiring and investing, which is bolstering Tennessee’s vibrant economy. His 100% NFIB Voting Record in 2023-24 demonstrates his continuing support for small businesses in his district and statewide.”
The presentation was made at Rose’s state office in Nashville. Rose serves as 2nd vice-chair of the Judiciary Committee and is a member of the Energy, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Fiscal Review, and Government Operations committees.
The Guardian of Small Business award is the most prestigious honor that NFIB bestows on legislators in recognition of their efforts to support small business. The NFIB Tennessee Leadership Council, an advisory board comprised of NFIB members, voted to present the award to Rose for his outstanding leadership on small business issues.
Rose said, “It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized with the NFIB Guardian of Small Business award. I’ve been an NFIB member for more than 20 years through my construction business and have appreciated what the organization does for Main Street businesses. I have been and will continue to be passionate about backing our entrepreneurs and their employees. Supporting them will always be part of my agenda.”
NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
