SALEM, Ore., May 31, 2022—With the release today of NFIB’s 2021-2022 Voting Record, Oregonians now have proof of whether incumbent state legislators claiming to prioritize small business really did so when it came time to vote.

“Every two years we publish our voting records to show the friends of small business in deeds, not in words,” said Anthony Smith, Oregon state director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small-business association. “These past two years gave been incredibly tough on Oregon’s small businesses, so we thank those lawmakers who stood by Main Street entrepreneurs through thick and thin.”

Lawmakers were graded on seven issues of importance to small business. Six senators and 17 representatives had perfect, small-business voting records of 100%.
