Ohio Small Business Community Endorses Orlando Sonza for Election to Congress

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Sept. 6, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Orlando Sonza for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Ohio’s 1st Congressional District. “Orlando Sonza is a CPA who has owned his own small business,” said Chris Ferruso, NFIB Ohio State Director. “He understands how tax policy can impact the ability of our members to succeed. He knows the importance of making the Small Business Deduction permanent. His background and understanding of our members’ issues make him the pro-small business candidate in this race.” “Orlando Sonza deeply understands the problems and priorities of small business,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “As a lawyer, tax specialist, and small business owner, he is well-positioned to stand up for Main Street priorities such as regulatory reform and making tax relief for small businesses permanent. We are proud to endorse him today.” The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
