NFIB Nebraska will continue fighting for pro-small business policies
NFIB Nebraska State Director Ryan McIntosh released the following statement after Governor Jim Pillen’s State of the State Address to the 109th Legislature.
“Governor Jim Pillen’s State of the State Address touched on many of Nebraska’s key issues, especially property taxes and government spending. NFIB Nebraska agrees that Nebraskans are some of the hardest-working people in America. While modest steps were taken to lower property taxes last year, there’s still more work to be done. We echo the Governor’s call to lower the tax burden and make Nebraska more competitive. If we want the Cornhusker State to continue to draw in more people and opportunities, we must prioritize pro-small business policies.”
