NFIB Hosts Small Business Roundtable with U.S. Congressman Warren Davidson

U.S. Congressman Warren Davidson (OH-08) recently met with small business owners at The Back Porch Saloon in West Chester, an NFIB small business member. Rep. Davidson discussed important issues pertaining to small businesses – a looming tax hike, overreaching government regulations, and unreasonable reporting requirements. “We are thankful that Rep. Warren Davidson made the time to talk about the engine of Ohio’s economy: small business owners,” said NFIB State Director Chris Ferruso. “Our members continue to be overwhelmed with various challenges facing their businesses and Rep. Davidson has been a strong advocate in Congress to relieve them of some of these economic and regulatory pressures.” Earlier this year, Rep. Davidson introduced the Repealing Big Brother Overreach Act, legislation that would repeal the burdensome beneficial ownership reporting requirements on small businesses. The beneficial ownership registry was included in the Corporate Transparency Act and is one of the largest and most burdensome regulations on small businesses. Take Action: Send a message to your lawmakers to support repealing the beneficial ownership reporting requirements.
