NFIB Endorses Julia Letlow For Congress In LA-05 Special Election

BATON ROUGE, La. (March 9, 2021) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Julia Letlow for Congress in the special election for Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District.

“Louisianans need pro-small business leaders in Congress, and we believe Julia Letlow will be a strong advocate for the state’s small businesses,” said NFIB Louisiana State Director Dawn Starns McVea. “As someone who grew up in northeast Louisiana, Julia has invaluable insight into the needs of small business owners in the sprawling district. We believe if she is elected, small businesses will have a reliable champion in Congress.”

“With a deep commitment to support Louisiana small businesses, we are proud to endorse Julia Letlow for Congress,” said NFIB Senior National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “Julia will be a vigorous advocate for Main Street and will bring a fresh perspective to Congress. We look forward to working with her.”

This endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, the NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process.
