New York’s Small Business Community Endorses Nick LaLota

ALBANY, N.Y. (Sept. 29, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Nick LaLota for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent New York’s 1st Congressional District.

“Nick LaLota is a proven supporter of Main Street,” said Ashley Ranslow, NFIB New York State Director. “He advocated for small businesses as an Amityville Board of Trustees member and understands the concerns of small business owners in his district. He has pledged to ease the tax and regulatory burdens facing small businesses while addressing inflation and high energy prices. Nick LaLota will be a strong pro-small business Member of Congress, and we are pleased to endorse him today.”

“Nick LaLota has been a consistent ally of small business during his tenure in local office,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “We are confident that he will continue to promote pro-small business policies in Congress, and we look forward to working with him.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
