Covered employers must post required posters and provide mandatory notices or face significant penalties from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (MN DLI).
The New Year means new laws and new paperwork requirements for businesses of all sizes in Minnesota. This includes new and updated workplace posters and employee notices.

The following state workplace posters and notices were added or modified in 2023:
Minnesota-Mandated Employee Notices
- Nursing Mothers, Lactating Employees, and Pregnancy Accommodations
- Earned Sick and Safe Time
- Recruited Migrant Agricultural Worker Employment
- Safe Workplaces for Meat and Poultry Processing Workers
- Packinghouse Workers Bill of Rights Explanation Form
- Recruited Meatpacking and Poultry Processing Worker Disclosure
Minnesota-Mandated Workplace Posters
- Employer-Sponsored Meetings or Communications
- Minimum Wage Rates
- Veterans Benefits and Services (business w/50+ full-time employees)
- Pregnant Workers and New Parents
- Earned Sick and Safe Time (optional, but encouraged by MN DLI)
